Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Classroom Closure

Following Governor Whitmer's Executive Order to close schools for the remainder of this school year, our classroom is closed and is scheduled to re-open in September.  We want all of our students and teachers to stay safe during these unprecedented times.  For students currently enrolled, you will be receiving instructions on how you can continue your studies at home while our classroom is closed.  For prospective students, please contact 517-488-5342 for more information on enrollment.  Please note that we will not be enrolling any new students until September or October.

Meet Our Volunteer Staff

Our hard working and compassionate teachers are dedicated to the GIL cause and work tirelessly to help bring accessible education to refugees in the Lansing area.  In 2018, our incredible group of volunteer teachers donated 2,500 hours of their time to our classroom.  They are simply amazing and we are so thankful for each of them.  Thank you, teachers!
